A to B — solid state.
B to C — Solid And Liquid State
C to D — Liquid State
D to E — Liquid and Gaseous State
E to F — Gaseous State
Also for the melting point , the answer is -40°C.
When they ask for the melting point , try to find the part of the curve where there is both solid and liquid state , which is B to C. Since the question asked for the melting point , they are asking you to find the temperature from the graph. ( Just a tip )
