Pls help to explain how to solving.
We know that 2/3 of the blue beads were used, so 1/3 of the blue beads remained unused.
Supposing we have 5 units of blue beads at the end. We would have 15 units of blue beads at the start.
So, we need to convert the ratio 3 : 5 into the ratio 9 : 15.
The final ratio is 2 : 5, indicating that 2/3 of the blue beads have been used up. So, we can say that the number of red beads has reduced from 9 units to 2 units.
7 units ==> 21 beads
1 unit ==> 3 beads
24 units (total) ==> 72 beads
So, Lina bought 72 beads altogether.
