3x + y = 1
y = 1 - 3x
(x+y)(x+2y)
= x² + 3xy + 2y²
= x² + 3x∙(1-3x) + 2(1-3x)²
= (1-9+18)x² + (3-12)x + 2
= 10x² - 9x + 2 = 3
10x² - 9x - 1 = 0
= (10x + 1)∙(x - 1)
x₁ = -⅒ ⇨ y₁ = ¹³⁄₁₀
x₂ = 1 ⇨ y₂ = -2
