my answer is slightly different from answer key but i hope its correct… because i dont see how the answer key make sense. do clarify if needed!

sorry… if the answer is definitely correct then please downvote my working! maybe something is wrong with my concept

I have confirmed this with Desmos.

Either the teacher who prepared the answer key miscalculated the solution or forgot to type the negative sign in the software.
Normally for me, if I downvote answers, I usually do so not because solutions are wrong - in fact, I upvote logical solutions even if they are wrong.
If an answer is presented very sloppily with no explanation to the student, I would downvote that answer even if it is correct.
