Since we know it’s acute and there’s is trigo involved, we can use a right angle triangle. By using pythagoras theorem, we can find the other length to be square root of 8. We can then proceed to use the triangle to solve the other parts.

by using the triangle, we can find cosA as cos is adjacent over hypotenuse. also, cos30° is a special angle.
