x² - x = ½
(x - ½ )² = ½ + (½)² = ¾ = 0.75
x = ½ ± √0.75
x₁ ≈ 1.366
x₂ ≈ -0.366

(x-2)² = -2.5 + 2² = 1.5
x = 2 ±√1.5

x₂ ≈ 0.775
