If it’s just listing down the elements, then we write every number that we can see from -10 to -1 ie -10, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1.

To avoid ambiguity, the word “inclusive” is used.

Without the word “inclusive”, the boundaries -10 and -1 are not counted. However, this depends on your teacher.

Because one of my international students was marked wrong by an online quiz system in his school website when he did not include the numbers for answering a question without the word “inclusive”. I immediately told him to send a feedback through the same channel.

I presume that in other countries, “inclusive” is an automatic when a question asks for numbers between -10 and -1. However, for you, it’s safer to only include -10 and -1 when the word “inclusive” is present.
