for part b it is 2n(n+1)

part c)

if u look at the pattern, n=1. the square has 1*1 on each side. for n=2, the square has 2*2 on each side. so if it's a 10*10 square it means it is n=10. with the formula from part b, substitute n=10 into it. 2*10*(10+1)=220
