(i)

➗"2^(14)" at both sides of equation

2 - 1 = 1 = 2^(-x-14) = 2⁰

x + 14 = 0

x = -14 (Ans)


(ii)

➗"5^(10)" at both sides of equation

5- 1 = 4 = 4•5^(-x-10) = 2²

x + 10 = 0

x = -10 (Ans)
