time → 2 hours 30 min = 2.5h
distance = time × speed
= 2.5h • x km/h
= (2.5 x) km (Ans)

(x-20) km/h (Ans)

time (passenger) → 11 30 - 9 = 2.5h
time (goods) → 11 30 - 10 = 1.5h
distance = time × speed
passenger → 2.5 • x
goods → 1.5 • (x-20)
2.5 x + 1.5 • (x-20) = 4 • x - 3 = 360
x = (360+3)÷4 = 90.75 km/h
goods train speed →
x - 20 = 70.75 km/h (Ans)
