u → # of the big muffins
u×3.50 + (112-u)×2.20 = 340
u = (340 - 112×2.20)÷(3.50-2.20) = 72
large C → 72÷2 = 36
# of the samll muffins → 112- 72 = 40
samll C → 40÷2 = 20
36 - 20 = 16 (Ans)
