One Answer Below
Anyone can contribute an answer, even non-tutors.
hi can someone help me?
Clearly OB and OC are radii of the same circle, so triangle OBC is isosceles.
Angle COD = 96
Angle OBC = 96/2 = 48
(or you can just say that angle at centre is twice angle at circumference)
(or you can do the slower method of finding angle BOC first)
==> x = 48
Of course angle OCB = 48 as well, so angle BCA - 48 - 18 = 30.
Angle BDA = Angle BCA = 30
(angles in the same segment are equal)
==> y = 30
