(a)
sin(2x)
= 2 ⋅ sin(x) ⋅ cos(x) = 3 ⋅ cos(x)

→ cos(x) = 0

x₁ = 90°
x₂ = 270°

Not sure if they will be looking out for method mark, but I would do this:

sin 2x = 3 cos X
2 sin x cos x - 3 cos x =0
cos x (2 sin x - 3) =0
cos x = 0 or sin x = 3/2 (rej. sin x <1)

the sin part gives the marker the idea that you have considered another possible solution, but rejected as the criteria is not met?
if never put the sin x part or just divide both side by cosine to get tan x I think might - 1 mark
