try using the guess and check method if rly unsure! (unless specified to use a certain % method then i can't help haha)

anyways, total (P+Y) = 77 balloons. consist of 35 purple, 42 yellow.
their difference is 7 which fits the question. 60% of 35 is 21, 50% of 42 is also 21. so there you go! how i started was to list out the multiples of 7 and just try.

Guess and check also works, but using ratio can be more efficient. Hope this helps!
