Please help with this question. I said 0.54 is greater but my child told me her teacher said 0.45 is greater, which I cannot understand why? Kindly enlighten me if I am wrong. Many thanks in advance.

I'm sure that 0.54 is greater but if there's a negative sign in front then -0.45 will be greater.
0.54 is greater. reason:0.45&0.54 are decimals with 2 places take the first decimal places and compare (0.4 for 0.45 and 0.5 for 0.54)obviously 5 is bigger than 4(i'm an P6 boy)
