A general division formula is

Dividend = Divisor x Quotient + Remainder

So here, dividend is what we are trying to find.

Dividend = 7 x 14.6 + 5

In regular circumstances at your level, “quotient” is usually taken to be a whole number.

You can try experimenting on other numbers first.
Eg. 10 divided by 7 would give you 1 remainder 3.

Divisor times quotient and then added with remainder would give you your number

7 x 1 + 3 = 10
