= $6+u : $12+2u : 2u
2×(6+u) + 1×(12+2u) + 3×2u
= $12+$12 + 2u+2u+6u
= $24 + 10u
= $144
u = ($144-$24)÷10
= $12

$12+2u = $12+2×$12
= $36 (Ans)
(b)
1 F → 2u = 2×$12 = $24
$120 ÷ $24 = 5
5 + 3 = 8 (Ans)

= $6+u : $12+2u : 2u
2×(6+u) + 1×(12+2u) + 3×2u
= $12+$12 + 2u+2u+6u
= $24 + 10u
= $144
u = ($144-$24)÷10
= $12
