Ok first of all for proving questions you should start from a side which to you can be easily manipulated(changed).This is because usually the easily manipulated sides allow you to change the expressions in many more ways and this is the fundamental part of proving,where you can change one side in many ways possible and then slowly you'll get to figure the answer out.If you start from the left side for this question,you would notice you can't really see much changing can be done compared to the right side and hence you will be less likely to prove the whole question.Unless you can see it but I feel many can't and will be only able to start manipulating from the right side.This is how we do proving questions.Fundanentally it is about starting from the side you can see more patterns of changing the expressions,which will slowly lead to the answer.

And after these basic steps in proving it is really about your concepts already how well you know the material of math.If you know it in depth you can see a lot of patterns of changing expressions and get to the answer faster.And finally I always emphasise and tell people that fundamental principles of a subject are very important to seeing patterns and how to do questions for that is always the first step to doing well,mastering the content of the subject:)
