(i) disagree because company A has a lower median salary of 28k compared to company B's 31k
(ii) disagree because upper quartile/ 75th percentile of company A is 43k while that of company B is 39k (top 25% earn abv 43k for A so more than 25% earn abv 40k, only top 25% earn abv 39k for B so less than 25% earn abv 40k)

you cannot agree with the statement. So you can only disagree. Then you give reason why do you disagree. It is nothing to do with inconclusive or not. It is because it is inconclusive, you cannot agree with it.
