I think it because the sulphuric acid is dibasic acid means it produces 2 mol hydrogen permol of the h2 so4 so it reacts more quickly due to presence of more h+ ions. However for hydrocloric acid, its mono basic so it produce 1 mol of h+ ions thus lesser concentration of h+ ions = slower reaction
