a) amt deducted : $x
percentage of amt deducted
= x/3000 × 100%
b) percentage of amt deducted = 10%
$ x/3000 x 100% = 10%
x/3000 = 10÷100
x=0.1(3000)
x=300
percentage of amt deducted
= x/3000 × 100%
b) percentage of amt deducted = 10%
$ x/3000 x 100% = 10%
x/3000 = 10÷100
x=0.1(3000)
x=300
