Try not to use the rounded up result from previous part (unless specified) since that would result in truncation errors.


Instead, do this :

360° × 286/1542 ≈ 66.77° = 66.8° (1d.p)

The line graph displays or indicates the increase/decrease more explicitly than the pie chart since we are able to look at the movement/directional changes.

For the pie chart, the difference between case numbers for certain days is less obvious/pronounced with the use of areas.

For example, the areas for 17 Jul and 18 Jul (250 and 224 cases respectively) look about the same.


Secondly, case numbers are but single values and not a measure of dimension so it is less appropriate to use a pie chart (which mainly distinguishes between slices of varying areas)
