y-x=4
From above, y=4+x
Sub that into below equation
3yx=2016
You will get:
3x(4+x)=2016
12x+3x^2=2016
3x^2+12x-2016=0 (quadratic equation)
Solving this, x=-28 (reject) & x=24 (since it needs to be positive)
Y=28
From above, y=4+x
Sub that into below equation
3yx=2016
You will get:
3x(4+x)=2016
12x+3x^2=2016
3x^2+12x-2016=0 (quadratic equation)
Solving this, x=-28 (reject) & x=24 (since it needs to be positive)
