Your inequality for the right side is wrong.

(x - 5)(x + 2) ≤ 0

This is a U-shaped , upward sloping quadratic curve so for the y-value (or vertical axis value) to be ≤ 0, you should be looking at the portion of the curve between x = 5 and x = -2

The inequality should be :

-2 ≤ x ≤ 5

For your inequality on the left side, it should be x < 0 and not x > 0

x(x - 3) > 0

This is also a U-shaped , upward sloping quadratic curve.

So for the y-value (or vertical axis value) to be > 0, you should be looking at the portion of the curve between after x = 3 and before x = 0

The inequality should be :

x < 0 or x > 3

Overall, to satisfy both inequalities,

-2 ≤ x < 0
And
3 < x ≤ 5

My suggestion for you on how to visualise this :

Go to desmos.com and plot y = x² - 3x and y = x² - 3x - 10

See where the x-intercepts are. You'll understand better.

For some reason the words "and" and "or" are often confused by students when it comes to simultaneous inequalities.

It gets even more confusing when it comes to interpreting those terms for probability questions.
