For the LHS , multiply both numerator and denominator by tan x
Recall that tan x = sin x / cos x and cot x = cos x / sin x
This way, you'll be able to convert the cot x into 1.
The cosec x = 1/sinx will also be converted into 1/cos x which = sec x
