Total shaded area = total area of square - total area of 3 unshaded triangle
Total area of square = 12× 12
= 144
Mid point = half of length
= 12÷2
=6
Total area of 3 unshaded= (0.5×6×6)+ 2(0.5×6×12)
=18+72
=90cm square
