Sum of exterior angles = 360°
For A, there are n exterior angles.

360° = n × a°
360° = an°
360 = an

Sum of interior angles
= 180° × (number of interior angles - 2)

= (number of interior angles) × (value of each interior angle)

For B, equate the two.

180° × (2n - 2) = 4½a° × 2n
360n° - 360° = 9an°
360n = 360 + 9an

Since you know from A that 360 = an,

360n = an + 9an

360n = 10an

a = 360n /10n

a = 36

Since 360 = an,
n = 360/a = 360/36 = 10
