The answer: The volume of cuboid P is 600 cubic cm.
Reason: the two cuboids are joined together to form a "cube". A cube means that all sides are equal. Therefore, the height, breadth and length of the cube is 10cm. To find the height of the cuboid P, it is equal to 10cm - 4cm = 6cm.
Volume of cuboid P is 10cm * 10cm * 6cm = 600cm3.

See 1 Answer

A cube has the same length, breath and height.
Height of P = Height of Cube - Height of Q
= 10 - 4
= 6cm
Vol. of cuboid P = l x b x h
= 10 x 10 x 6
= 600cm^3
