In solving these types of questions of finding an equation, always try to list down the first few scenarios:
C1 = 50 litre of 10mol/litre,
500mol/50litre=10mol/litre
C2 = 40 litre of 10mol/litre, 400mol/50litre=8mol/litre
C3 = 40 litre of 8mol/litre,
320mol/50litre=6.4mol/litre
C4 = 40 litre of Xmol/litre, Ymol/50litre=Zmol/litre
...
Cn+1 = 40 litre of Cn mol/litre,
40*Cn mol/50litre = ...

By listing the scenarios, you can see the pattern that emerge and then you can generalize it further to solve for n equation
