String C is 26 cm shorter than String B.
String C is also 150 cm shorter than String A.
What does this mean?
If you actually draw the model with string B being 1 unit, you will soon realise that the difference in length between String A and String B is 150 - 26 = 124 cm.
But recall that String A is also 5 times the length of String B, so String A takes 5 units and String B takes 1 unit. The difference in length, in terms of units, is 4 units.
Both the 4 units and the 124 cm represent the same thing, so
4 units = 124
1 unit = 124 divided by 4 = 31
Since B is 1 unit, String B is 31 cm.
