Differentiate ln(x) gives 1/x, no more ln...
Differentiate any ln, everything within the ln goes to denominator, no more ln...

If they give us like this . We must put the e.g 6x differentiate then we must put xln6=any letter we ln it?
My purpose is to make the given function into either ln() or e^(), coz only these two functions can be differentiated.
But if they give it like that can i use that as a formula? The thing ure using e /ln and exactly following ur steps if thwy give 6x or 100x
It is not a formula, it is a method. You learned indices and logarithms in sec level, just make use of them.
But is there a diff way for me to do other than putting ........=k ?
I mean is there anyway to do it other than equalling the ln to k
k is just a temporary variable, a transition term only. I wanted to make it into an equation, so that you have LHS and RHS, so that I can rearrange. If only 10^x, which we call it an expression, I can introduce anything to balance it!

Some people who are good in indices and logarithms, they can straight away equate 10^x = e^(x ln 10) !!

Im abit confused . If its a trigo fraction the fraction means minus? Bxos like the other Q when its a normal x funct we dont subtract it? Is it only apply to trigo funct?
Nothing to do with trigo, it is because of the ln, property of logarithms : ln (x/y) = ln x - ln y.
