Once you have the moles of the substance, you can calculate the mass in grams using:
Mass = moles x molar mass
For example, mass of 0.5 moles of CO2
= 0.5 x (12 + 2x16) = 22.0 g

Molar mass is a more general term, that can be used to refer to relative atomic mass or relative molecular mass.
