Can you find any values of x for which the graph =-5? What happens if x =-1000, is the graph still above -5 or is it below. How about when x = -100000? So what can you conclude?

think about how to i get below -5. lets say for example -6. can 2^x - 5 give = -6? this counter example shows that 2^x must be a negative number, but can 2^x be a negative number? no
