No, not correct. 10 buns at 65¢ each means 1 bun cost 65¢ and 10 were bought.
So, 65¢ × 10 = 650¢
650¢ = $6.50
Change received = $50 - $6.50 = $43.50
Your working was for 1 bun only.

Another point to note :

It should be : 65¢ = $0.65

Not

65¢ ≈ $0.65

Because this is not an approximation. It's conversion of a monetary amount from cents to its equivalent in dollars.
