Hi! I believe there is a typo in part (c). It should be "minimum point" instead of a "maximum point". This is because:
If we expand the equation of y=-(3-x)(x+1), we get
y = x^2 -2x - 3
Since the coefficient of x^2 is positive, it should be a smiley face graph and therefore a minimum point as seen in the drawing.
