Qn tests on binomial theorem, the expansion of a (positive) power function w 2 terms within the brackets. The formula should have been provided in your notes, but i have it at the top for ref too.
Main clue(s): 3rd term independent of x. This means that the 3rd term in the expansion of the function has no x term in it -> its a constant. With that in mind, after deriving the expression for the 3rd term of the expansion, solve for n such that the powers of x = 0
