At 7.00am, 5.30am to 7.00am = 1.5hr. Gary has traveled for = 80 × 1.5 hr = 120km.
Therefore, Johnson is 120km behind the Gary.
Johnson took 5 hr to catch up with Gary.
5hr → 120km
1hr = 120÷5 = 24 km
Hence, Johnson's speed is 24 km/h faster than Gary.
a) Johnson speed is 80+24 = 104 km/h.

b) Johnson reached town B at 1pm. So he took total of 6 hours for whole journey. (From 7.00am to 1.00pm = 6hrs).
Therefore, distance between town A and Town B
= 104 × 6
= 624 km.
