Given ABC similar to ZAX:
The sides ratio are similar:
To find AX:
BC / AX = AB / AZ (ZA = AZ)
7 / AX = 14 / 10
AX = 7 * 10 / 14
= 5cm //
Guide: Make use of similarities properties to solve,
ABC: AB, AC and BC
ZAX: ZA, ZX and AX
Just make the question the subject and solve accordingly.
