Why 2xL=16?
Big square - small square = 36
Therefore, area of 2 rectangle
= 36-4
=32
Area of each rectangle
= 32÷2
= 16
Length x Breadth = 16
Length x 2 = 16
Length = 8 cm
Therefore, area of 2 rectangle
= 36-4
=32
Area of each rectangle
= 32÷2
= 16
Length x Breadth = 16
Length x 2 = 16
Length = 8 cm
