when you work with integration, make sure that you are able to get your intial expression if you differentiate your answer.

for instance, suppose we get B when we integrate A. Then you need to make sure that when we differentiate B, we get back A.

In your working, if we differentiate C (a constant), we get 0, which is not equals to 1/x.
