Good morning Candice! When we are looking for the term which is independent of x, it means that we are looking at the term which does not contain any x in it (also known as the constant term, with a power of x equal to zero).

I have seen that another tutor has done the question for you. Have you learnt the general formula in the binomial theorem?

Good evening Mr Eric!
I had a busy day at school, preparing for HBL starting tomorrow. Yes, I did learn the general formula in binomial theorem :) and I understand the question now. I had somehow misinterpreted this question earlier on. Thanks for your clarification.
Pls take care and stay safe :D

Good morning Ms Tham. Thank you so much for your advised working solution :)
I am in school right now, unable to look at your workings in details. I will certainly take a look during my break time.
Once again, thanks a lot! And I hope you have a good day ahead :D
