Hi Vk. There is one answer, 392, in my working. May I know which two answers are you referring to?
Fraction of beads that are blue and yellow = 1 - 4/7 = 3/7
There are 3 times as many blue as yellow beads.
Blue → 3 units, Yellow → 1 unit, total of Blue and Yellow → 4 units
Fraction of beads that are yellow = 3/7 × 1/4 = 3/28
Fraction of beads that are blue = 3/7 × 3/4 = 9/28
Fraction of beads that are red = 4/7 = 16/28
Difference in fraction of red and of yellow
= 16/28 - 3/28 = 13/28
Since there are 182 more red than yellow magnets,
13/28 of all magnets = 182
1/28 of all magnets = 182 ÷ 13 = 14
Total number of magnets = 28 × 14 = 392
