Help me please
Don't have pen and paper right now so can't write it down for you.
Multiply 1600 to 6 to find how much water there is left to fill the tank.
Divide the answer you get with the Base area of the tank (50x30) to get the remaining HEIGHT left to fill. (volume of remaining water ÷ Base area =remaining height)
With this remaining height you have to add the previous 4cm of the water the tank already has.
That's how you get your answer! :) if I find pen and paper when I reach where I'm going ill try writing it down for you. For now if you understand this do try working out a solution :)
Base area of tank = 50 x 30 =1500cm^2
Remaining height of water = 9600 ÷ 1500 =6.4cm
Height of tank = 6.4 +4=10.4cm
So your answer is option 4!
Hope this helps Jeshnu:)
