Original Ratio

J : K : L
7 : 3 : 4

Kai Ming's stickers is unchanged.

Work backwards.

After Jane gave 14 stickers to Lily, Kai Ming had 28 less than Lily.

So when Lily gives back the 14 stickers to Jane, she will have 14 less stickers now.

This means that the original difference in stickers between Kai Ming and Lily is :

28 - 14 = 14

Kai Ming had 14 less stickers than Lily at first.

Looking at the ratio,

Difference in their units = 4 - 3 = 1

So 1 unit = 14 stickers

Total number of stickers

= (7 + 3 + 4) units
= 14 units
= 14 × 14 stickers
= 196 stickers.
