Formula for Area of sector is ½r²θ
where θ is the angle and r is the radius.
Given : r = 12
Since area of Sector = 30π cm²
½(12)²θ = 30π
½(144)θ = 30π
72θ = 30π
θ = 30π ÷ 72
θ = 5/12 π (or 5π/12)
Formula for Area of sector is ½r²θ

Perimeter of sector
= Circumference portion + 2 radii(its sides)
= 5π cm + 2 × 12 cm
= (5π + 24) cm
= rθ
= (12cm)(5/12 π)
= 5π cm
Perimeter of sector
= Circumference portion + 2 radii(its sides)
= 5π cm + 2 × 12 cm
= (5π + 24) cm
