You got x = 48t because you divided 144(litres) by 3(hours).
But if you read the question carefully, the rate is x litres in t minutes.
So you need to convert 3 hours into minutes first.
3 hours = 180 minutes.
x/t = 144 /180 = 4/5
So x = 4/5 t
