Hi . Is it add 70% + $80% = 282 ?

10% failed. Therefore, 90% passed ...
From there, 70%+80% of students, total = 90%, meaning to say, some students passed both sci and math.. ie.. 60%

I like this chart method but I don't know how to figure it myself when I'm trying out . Thank anyway for sharing. I will try again

If you move the whole blue parts left for 1 unit
The failed for both will be 2 units → 20% failed for both, instead of 10%

So 7-1=6
6 units passed for both

Total → 10 units
