It’s the integrate with respect to y kind of question. The area to consider is the other area which extends to the y-axis instead of the x-axis.

Then we do rectangle - this integral to get the value of our wanted integral

Remember to put the “dx” behind every time you attempt to integrate an expression using the integrate symbol.

This is because of a reason which is understood better in the A Level where you will find that the “dx” is really a quantity.
