First one :
x⁴ - 13x² + 36 = 0
Rewrite as :
(x²)² - 13(x²) + 36 = 0
Notice that this is similar to our quadratic equation. We just take x² to replace your usual 'x'.
Solve like how you would normally.
Same for the second question. Treat the term in the bracket like a 'x'
