Big square - 1 circle with radius 28
= 56×56 - 22/7 × 28²
= 3136 -2464
= 672 cm²

All the sectors combined together will give you a big circle with radius 28 cm

The angle in each sector is 45° so eight of them will have a combined angle of 360°, which is of 1 full circle

(recall that angle sum at a point is 360°.
A semicircle has angle 180° (straight line) and quadrant has angle 90° (right angle)

This 45° means that each identical sector is a ⅛ circle)

Another clue given in the diagram :

Notice that in the middle of the big square there are two pairs of sectors, where each pair is joined together. The combined angle is 90° and the shape should make you recall about quadrants.

We can have 4 such quadrants , which also makes up 1 full circle
